EL SEED
eL Seed is a contemporary artist whose practice blends the visual tradition of Arabic calligraphy with the energy of urban art. Through painting, sculpture, and installation, he creates works rooted in language that carry universal messages of unity, coexistence, and resilience.
His art explores identity and cultural memory across the globe, with monumental projects spanning from the pyramids of Giza to the favelas of Rio. His critically acclaimed project Perception, created in Cairo’s garbage collectors’ district, earned him the International Award for Public Art.
Recognized as a Global Thinker, a TED Fellow, and a World Economic Forum Young Global Leader, eL Seed uses his art as a platform for social impact. His pieces are held in prestigious collections, including the Metropolitan Museum of Art and the Louvre Abu Dhabi, and have been exhibited in major institutions worldwide.
