INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
The general structure as well as the software, texts, images, sounds, graphics and any other element composing the Application are the exclusive property of Paris Musées, or are duly used under license. Any total or partial representation of this Application by any process whatsoever, without the express authorization of Paris Musées, is prohibited and would constitute infringement punishable under Articles L. 335-2 et seq. of the French Intellectual Property Code.
The trademarks of Paris Musées and of its partners, as well as the logos appearing on the site, are registered trademarks, whether semi-figurative or not. Any total or partial reproduction or representation of these trademarks, and any modification or alteration of these trademarks and/or logos without the express authorization of Paris Musées, is therefore prohibited within the meaning of Article L. 713-2 of the French Intellectual Property Code.
Paris Musées objects to any text and data mining operations within the meaning of Article L. 122-5-3 of the French Intellectual Property Code.
This objection covers the entire Application and the Contents to which it provides access. Any text and data mining operations targeting the Application and its Contents, including by automated data collection devices, therefore constitute acts of infringement unless specific, formally expressed agreement has been obtained from Paris Musées.
Article R. 122-28 of the French Intellectual Property Code specifies that the objection mentioned in III of Article L. 122-5-3 may be expressed by any means, including through the use of general terms and conditions of a website or application service. The absence of metadata associated with the Site, Site directories or Site Contents has no effect on the exercise of the right of objection expressed in these terms of use.

CAMERA ACCESS FOR ARTWORK IDENTIFICATION
The application may request authorization to access the camera of your device. This functionality is used exclusively for the recognition of works presented within the WE ARE [STILL] HERE Exhibition at the Petit Palais from 19 June 2026 to 20 September 2026.
Images captured in this context:
- are not recorded;
- are not stored;
- are not transmitted to third parties;
- are used only for the time strictly necessary to recognize the artworks.
PRIVACY POLICY
Paris Musées is responsible for the processing of personal data collected in the context of its activities, in particular:
- data concerning persons browsing this application (hereinafter the “Application”);
- data concerning persons participating in the contest organized on the Application and persons subscribing to news about the “We are [still] here” exhibition (hereinafter the “Exhibition”).
In accordance with the provisions of the French “Informatique et Libertés” Law of 6 January 1978 and Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 (GDPR), you will find below all information relating to the processing of the categories of data referred to above, as well as the rights you have in relation to these processing operations.
Paris Musées, a local public establishment represented by its President, is responsible for the processing of personal data collected from the Application, its website and the websites of the municipal museums. The establishment undertakes to take all necessary measures to ensure the security and confidentiality of the information provided by users.
In the context of the data processing described below, you are informed that you have the following rights concerning your data: right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction and portability.
You may withdraw your consent at any time. To exercise these rights, you may, by proving your identity by any means, send us an email at EPPM-rgpd_ddppc.parismusees@paris.fr or send a letter to the public establishment Paris Musées, 30 rue de Chabrol, 75010 Paris.
If Paris Musées does not respond, you may contact the Data Protection Officer of the City of Paris by sending a message to dpd.paris@paris.fr. If, after contacting us, you consider that your “Informatique et Libertés” rights mentioned above have not been respected, you may submit an online complaint to the CNIL (Commission Nationale de l’Informatique et des Libertés).
I. Cookie Management
The Application uses cookies to optimize its operation and improve its interactivity.
A cookie is a small text file transmitted to your browser by the site you connect to during your first visit. Once installed, cookies allow us to recognize you on each visit and therefore enable you to benefit from all the features of our sites.
Two types of cookies are used by the Paris Musées Application.
1. “System” cookies, without which the quality of your browsing experience would be significantly degraded. These include, for example, trackers used for authentication in your personal space, those that remember the contents of your basket, those that store your cookie choices, or certain audience-measurement cookies that are not transmitted to third parties and whose sole purpose is to analyze consulted content in order to produce anonymous statistics.
In accordance with CNIL guidelines, your consent is not required for the use of this category of cookies. You may nevertheless configure your browser to notify you when cookies are placed on your device and to ask whether to accept them or not, either on a case-by-case basis or in full. We remind you, however, that disabling all cookies will prevent you from using our Application under normal conditions, except for basic functions.

II. Account Management for Access to the Contest
You may create an account on the Application in order to participate in the contest, whose rules are available here: https://wearehere.fr/reglement-jeu.html.
The account allows you to save your answers to the contest, receive alerts for new quiz questions and receive the results.
When creating your account, the following information is requested: email address and username (of your choice).
Only the Paris Musées digital service and its subcontractor have access to this information. The winner’s email address will be transmitted to the APAPUC association for contact and prize delivery; in this context, the APAPUC association will be the data controller.
The data thus collected will be kept for eight (8) months from your first connection from your personal space for the proper conduct of the contest.
III. Management of Registrations for Exhibition News
You may subscribe to news about the Exhibition organized by the Petit Palais when creating your account for access to the contest by ticking the box provided for this purpose.
Only your email address is processed in connection with Exhibition news.
Members of the Paris Musées communications departments access your data in order to manage the sending of newsletters.
Paris Musées retains your email address for four (4) months from your first connection from your personal space during the Exhibition.
IV. General
We will also disclose your personal data if we believe such disclosure is necessary to:
- comply with any applicable law, regulation, legal process or other legal obligation;
- detect, investigate and help prevent security, fraud or technical issues;
- protect the rights, property or safety of Paris Musées, our users, employees or others.
We implement technical and organizational measures designed to ensure a level of security appropriate to the personal information we process. These measures aim to ensure the integrity, confidentiality and availability of personal information.
