MAXIME SIAU

Maxime Siau is a sculptor from the south of France whose work explores the intersection between traditional craftsmanship and contemporary culture. Through porcelain and sculpture, he transforms icons of urban culture into poetic objects, questioning notions of value, memory, and desire.
His work, both sensitive and conceptual, explores fundamental tensions: the ephemeral and the permanent, the utilitarian object, and its survival in the form of a trace or residue. Maxime Siau engages in a reflection on the issues of our time, prompting the viewer to become aware of and question their environment.
