ROMAIN FROQUET
A self-taught artist, Romain Froquet has been developing a body of work centered on the line—envisioned as a language in its own right—since the early 2000s. His practice, which oscillates between abstraction, gesture, and symbolism, explores the relationships between the individual, space, and territory.
His work unfolds across a wide variety of mediums: drawing, painting, mural installations, and in situ interventions, where the line becomes movement, rhythm, and architecture. Exhibited in France and internationally, he currently pursues an approach that combines studio creation with monumental projects, notably within the framework of his Connections project in the middle of the Texas desert, or works like Tissage Urbain in Lyon.
